June 2025 marks the centenary of the renowned German-born Cornwall-based painter Karl Weschke (1925-2005). An exhibition and launch of a new book on the artist will take place at Hillsboro Fine Art in Dublin (June 6 – July 26), with many of the paintings and drawings from this exhibition travelling later in the year for a larger exhibition at the University of Plymouth. There will also be an exhibition of Weschke’s work in his hometown at the Stadtmuseum Gera in Germany.

The book Karl Weschke: Painting order out of chaos written by John Daly will be published in a hardback edition with dust jacket (180 pages) and be available at the gallery or online via the gallery website bookshop from May 2025.
