Hillsboro Fine Art is delighted to announce that Dublin-born artist, curator and visual arts educator Claire Halpin has joined the gallery. Halpin’s work explores themes and concepts around contested territories and histories through painting, video and installation. Her work will feature on the Hillsboro Fine Art booth at Art Evolve and she will have her first solo exhibition at Hillsboro Fine Art in 2026.

“I am influenced by the complex compositions of space and time in Renaissance painting, allowing multiple narratives and timescales to co-exist in the same picture plane and use these compositional devices in my work … I strive to create work that raises questions about how we choose to record history and the veracity of painting, photography and the media in documenting future history”.
